Trading and finance concepts are close to impossible to follow from narration alone. Price behaviour, timeframes, position sizing, index composition, market sessions — these are ideas that live in something moving, and a competent presenter explaining them to camera still leaves the viewer assembling the picture themselves. Most course footage arrives already recorded and already correct, and what is missing is the layer that makes the explanation visible.
A course is also a system problem rather than a video problem. Viewers move across modules, and if module six invents a new chart treatment the viewer has to relearn the visual grammar before they can learn the content. Designing seven modules separately produces seven defensible videos and one incoherent course, and it makes adding an eighth module later look like a different product.
Then there is the constraint that makes this category unlike any other explainer work: educational content published by a regulated firm cannot look like promotional content. Charts that only travel upward, profit figures used as decoration, or a framing that quietly turns an illustrative example into an implied outcome all push educational material toward something it is not allowed to be. We treat every visual as illustration of a concept rather than evidence of a result, which in practice means giving downside the same visual weight as upside. That is a design constraint we work to on financial content generally — it is our approach, not a brief we were handed.
The presenter footage is yours and usually already exists. What we build is everything that goes over, under and between it.
A chart language, a typographic hierarchy, a colour logic for up and down, and a transition set — built once and assembled per module. A viewer who finishes module three can read module six without relearning anything, and later modules can be added in-system.
The explanatory layer added on top of presenter footage you already have. This is the normal starting point on course work: the recording is done, the script exists, and the visual explanation does not.
A finished chart dropped on screen shows the answer. A chart that builds — axis, then price action, then the level being discussed, then the annotation — teaches the reasoning. Sequencing the reveal to match the explanation is the difference between decoration and instruction.
Each graphic arrives on the beat where the presenter introduces the idea and resolves before the next one starts. That is a timing job done against the actual audio, and on educational content it is most of the work.
Course modules are long and attention decays. Motion marks section changes, new concepts and summary moments so the viewer always knows where they are inside the module.
Single-idea pieces pulled from the same system for social placement, where a finance audience meets the material mid-feed with the sound off and every point has to land visually.
The review loop on regulated educational content has two distinct passes that have nothing to do with taste: is it factually right, and does it stay inside what the firm is permitted to publish. The sequence below exists to keep both of those cheap.

The useful question on a module is whether the chart is right, the term is used correctly and the sequencing matches the explanation. That is a different review to whether someone likes it, and it needs a different person doing it.
If your compliance function asks for a change to how something is represented, a component change propagates across every module that uses it. The alternative — seven separately designed episodes — means the same note has to be applied seven separate times.

Course work is scoped by the size of the component system and the number of review layers, not by total runtime.
Some modules are near-continuous graphics; others are a presenter talking with three moments that need drawing. The split matters more than the hours of footage.
Recurring concepts become reusable components and get cheaper with every module. One-off diagrams never amortise.
Building a chart language from scratch is a distinct phase. Extending a system that already exists skips it entirely.
