Ad Creative Services

Image ads that get one frame to make the whole argument

A static has no motion to buy attention with and no second chance at a hook. Everything rests on what reads first at the size the ad actually appears, so the hierarchy is the work, not the polish applied to it afterwards.

  • Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and display

  • Built for launches, testing, and retargeting

  • Ready in every size and placement

The brief

One frame, one decision

A video ad can spend two seconds earning attention. A static cannot. It appears smaller than it was designed, beside content the viewer chose deliberately, and it either lands one idea immediately or it is gone. So the first decision on every layout is what gets read first, second and third; everything after that is enforcing that order against the temptation to add more.

The second decision is what makes a set worth testing. Recolouring a layout is not a variant. Changing the claim, changing the proof, or changing the image the eye lands on gives the account a result it can actually attribute to something.

What you get

What we create

  • Offer-led statics

The claim carries the ad and the image supports it, for audiences who already understand the category and are weighing terms.

  • Product-led statics

The product is the ad, built from your supplied shots and recomposed in layout so it survives a small placement.

  • Message test sets

Same product, genuinely different arguments, so the buy tells you which claim worked rather than which background colour did.

  • Placement size sets

Feed, story, square and display sizes laid out individually. A layout that works at 1:1 is rebuilt for 9:16, not stretched into it.

  • Retargeting statics

Blunter, shorter-copy versions for people who already saw the first ad and do not need the setup repeated.

  • Comparison layouts

Before-and-after and this-versus-that ads for categories where the result is visible, sequenced so the eye reads the change in the right order.

  • Type-led layouts

Ads where the words are the creative, set so the line registers at a glance instead of needing to be read.

  • Campaign-matched sets

Statics that sit beside your video creative in the same campaign, carrying the same claim and treatment so the whole buy reads as one thing.

The workflow

How image ad creative comes together

  1. Step 1: Offer and placement first

What the ad asks the viewer to do, and where it appears. A social feed and a display banner are different design problems, and knowing both up front stops one becoming a compromised version of the other.

  2. Step 2: Asset check

We review the product shots, logo files, fonts and existing campaign assets you can supply, then flag anything that needs rebuilding first. A flattened export cannot be recomposed for a different aspect ratio. A layered file can.

  3. Step 3: One master layout, approved

We build a single layout and settle hierarchy, claim and image treatment on it alone. Nothing gets sized out until that is signed off, because changing the hierarchy afterwards means changing every size in the set.

  4. Step 4: Variants and sizes from the master

Genuine message variants for the test, then each placement laid out individually so nothing critical lands in a crop or under a platform overlay.

  5. Step 5: Delivery per placement

Files at the specs each platform wants, named by variant and placement so the reporting can be read back against the creative that produced it.

The fit

Who we work best with

Media buyers testing claims before committing to video

Static is where a message gets tested cheaply and quickly. The set has to be built so the result means something when it comes back.

Agencies running paid accounts

Produced under your name, from whatever the client can supply, at the cadence the account burns through creative.

Brands with a shot library and no designer

You have already paid for the product photography. The gap is turning it into layouts that hold up at the size an ad is actually seen.

Who we are not the right fit for: brands wanting product photography shot from scratch, full brand identity design, and one-off single graphics. We build campaign creative from assets that already exist, for buys that will keep running.

The scope

What drives scope on a static ad set

Every quote comes down to the same handful of variables:

  • Concepts against sizes

Three concepts across four placements is twelve files but only three design problems. Concepts drive the thinking, sizes drive the build-out, and the two scope very differently.

  • Source asset condition

Layered files, clean vector logos and high-resolution product shots move fast. Flattened JPEGs and a logo pulled off a website mean rebuilding before designing.

  • Whether a brand system exists

Working inside defined type, colour and layout rules is faster than deciding all three on the ad itself.

  • Copy readiness

Whether the headline, claim and call to action arrive written, or need shaping from a brief and the offer.

  • Image preparation

Cut-outs, retouching, background replacement and compositing are each a step that a clean supplied shot does not need.

  • Placement mix

Every platform brings its own safe areas and text rules, and a display banner set is a different discipline from a social feed set.

We quote from concept count, placement sizes, copy and image preparation.

Buyer questions

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What should our image ad creative brief include?

Include the offer, audience, destination page, brand kit, the placements you need, and any previous ads worth learning from. We design from photography and assets you supply, or from stock where the brief allows it; we don't shoot product photography.

  2. What actually changes between test versions?

One decision at a time, or the test tells you nothing. We vary the claim, the visual hierarchy, the offer framing, or the image while holding the rest fixed, so a result can be attributed to the change. Which to vary first depends on what your campaign data already rules out.

  3. Do you write the ad copy?

We write and set the on-screen copy: headline, subhead, offer, and call to action, because in a static ad the copy and the layout are the same decision. Primary text, descriptions, compliance wording, and anything platform policy governs stay with your team.

  4. Which ad formats and files do you deliver?

We create single-image ads and sequenced carousels, then deliver export-ready files in the sizes and formats each placement requires. Layered source files can be included when that handover is agreed at briefing.
