Opening an Instagram Profile with a QR Code

A self-initiated in-house piece with no client and no brief behind it, made to work out a technique. It composites a phone interface into live footage so that scanning a QR code appears to open an Instagram profile on the device in shot — tracking the screen through camera movement, matching its brightness to the room it is in, and timing the interface animation to the moment of the scan. That timing is the whole trick: UI motion that plays at its own speed instead of the device's reads as an overlay immediately.
